Choosing between our two garment lines

We sew two distinct lines in our bamboo jersey garments. The main difference sits right in the gusset seam. Picking between them comes down to which cycle days you plan to dress for.

The wider panel in Absorbent

Our Absorbent garments carry a wider sewn-in lined panel that runs further up the back waistband. We cut this style for full period days, overnight wear, and early postpartum weeks when you want broader fabric coverage. The extra layering adds a little substance through the seat, yet the bamboo jersey stays quiet under clothes.

If you plan to sleep in your pair, start here. The extended panel helps catch what moves while you turn in bed. Anyone with questions about postpartum recovery should speak with their midwife or doctor first, but for plain laundry planning, this is our heaviest build.

The slim gusset in Leakproof

Our Leakproof pairs keep the lined section trimmed down to a standard gusset footprint. The fabric build is thinner under the hips. We sew these for lighter cycle days, spotting, daily wear, or as backup under a cup or regular tampon.

You get the soft drape of bamboo jersey with minimal bulk between the thighs. Many people pull these on during the tail end of their week when a full absorbent panel feels like more garment than the day calls for.

Mapping your week across both

Most drawers end up holding a mix of both lines. You might wear Absorbent pairs through the first three days and while sleeping, then switch over to Leakproof for the remaining stretch. Doing your laundry mid-cycle is easier when you separate your heavy days from your light days this way.

The cut question is entirely separate from the line question. We sew briefs, high-waist panties, hipsters, boy shorts, and boxers in both constructions. Find the rise and leg opening that suits your body first, then choose the panel thickness that matches the day.
